At Henri Willig, everything is about hospitality, inspiration and premium products. Last year, Grand Café Henri Willig opened its doors in Giethoorn.

Grand Café Henri Willig is part of the Henri Willig Group. The Henri Willig Group, also known for its organic Hooidammer cheeses, is a fast-growing, independent cheese maker, exporter and retailer that has been successful in the exclusive cheese segment since 1974.

Quality, sustainability and innovation are our top priorities. More than 500 members of our Cheese Family are involved every day in making our award-winning cheeses, which we sell daily to our customers in over 50 countries as well as in our 37 company-owned stores and 3 cheese farms. 

As a Host / Hostess you will help the new team to set up and grow this new Grand Café in combination with Cheese Shop, Ice Cream Parlor and Tour Gondola within the local and tourist market. You will not only serve individual visitors, but also host groups. We offer our guests a complete Henri Willig - Giethoorn experience.

What will you do?

• You will be responsible for receiving guests, taking orders and serving drinks and dishes.
• You will work with all activities that create a “we” feeling in the Grand Café.
• You will ensure that our guests have a great experience and leave with a smile.
• Where needed you will support with work in the store and Ice Cream Parlor.

​We are looking for that colleague who:

• Already has some experience in Hospitality / Tourism / Hospitality and/or Retail ? That is a plus!
• Is independent and takes initiative and speaks to our guests in a pleasant way
• Speaks Dutch and English (or working on a Dutch language course from level A2)
• Preferably available at least 1 weekend day per week
• In possession of Sailing License 1? Then you can also work as skipper / host / hostess on the water!

What do you earn as a student?

Depending on your age, you will earn between 5 and 14 euros per hour.
